153. Habiter la campagne
Quartier de la Chapelle, Lancy, GE
Projet, 2009. Réalisation, 2012-2014Collaborator(s): Lorraine Beaudoin, Carine Jaccoud, José-Antonio Ramos
Both buildings totalise 48 apartments and are designed in a similar way. They are placed within the perimeter proposed by the Masterplan designed by our office in 1996. The design has a low environmental impact. For instance, topography was preserved and building's compacity proves interesting in terms of low energy impact and economy.
A daylt hall at the center of the building gives access to the apartments. This kind of distribution enhances the concept of a global living space avoiding reduced corridors.
Tha apartments include two bedrooms, kitchen, a dining room and a spatious living room with corner windows to introduce as much light as possible as well as offering interesting views of the surroundings.
